This story begins in November 2015. Carlos wanted to surprise his girlfriend Sofia and buy her a pair of heels, he loved fashion and knew that although Sofia was very tall she had no qualms about wearing heels and being even more tall, she said that height made her feel confident. With that idea in mind, Carlos goes out in search of his gift and begins to tour the streets of Madrid.

To his astonishment, he was not able to find shoes that he liked and did not have an exorbitant price and had to go home empty-handed. But it did not stop there, the idea of heels with an at- tractive design at a reasonable price was sown in his head.

After putting some thought into it, Carlos decides to tell Sofia the idea of creating a brand in which people could find what he had not been able to find when looking for his gift. Sofia encouraged him with the idea and both decided to take it forward. With the age of 18 and 24 years Sofia and Carlos founded MIM.
